How to Register
Registration opens in mid-April
Registration for both enrolled students and up to 2 guests takes place in the student’s Application Status Check.
All students and guests must be registered to attend. Travel cannot be arranged until the student is registered for a session.
Parking, meals, and social activities are complimentary at no cost for both the student and up to 2 guests.
Hotels
On-campus family housing is not available. Please see our list of area hotels.
Pack essential toiletries, weather appropriate clothing, walking shoes, and athletic wear for activities.
First-Year Students
Review arrival and program details for First-Year students and guests registered for Session K.
First-Year students will attend a mandatory 2-day Orientation program.
Pack essential toiletries, weather appropriate clothing, walking shoes, and athletic wear for activities.
Transfer and Veteran Students
Transfer and Veteran students will attend a mandatory 1-day Orientation program after they have moved into their fall residence and before classes begin.
Global Program Students
Review arrival and program details for Global Program students and guests registered for Session L.
Students transitioning from a Northeastern program and enrolled on the Boston campus for the first time including New York City Scholars, London Scholars, and Oakland students, along with those completing the NU Immerse and Foundation Year programs, are invited to participate in an optional half-day Orientation program that takes place prior to the start of fall classes.
Abroad Students
Students who live abroad will attend a late-summer session after fall move-in. This option is only available to those who reside outside of the United States.
Family Orientation
Family Orientation is optional and runs concurrent with the student program.
