Husky 101 Boston Orientation is mandatory for students enrolled on the Boston campus for the first time in Fall 2025. Family participation is optional and highly encouraged.

Starting in mid-April, enrolled students and families will receive Husky Happenings
bi-monthly email communications with important information and next steps.

Please move forward in making your vacation plans. Once registration is available in mid-April, please contact us if there is a concern with available session dates.

This summer, students will receive housing assignments, roommate information, and move-in dates from Housing and Residential Life. Students cannot make fall travel arrangements until they have an assigned move-in date.

N.U.in students participate in a 3-part Orientation experience: 

1. Pre-Departure Orientation (Summer 2025)

Mandatory program with optional elements hosted by the N.U.in Program

N.U.in Pre-Departure Orientation is designed to introduce you to N.U.in policies and procedures, increase your familiarity with N.U.in locations, and further prepare you for your time abroad. Information will include culture acclimation, safety and security while studying abroad, N.U.in policies, and academic advising. The curriculum includes a series of webinars, online learning modules, and an optional Campus Day in Boston.

2. N.U.in On-site/Abroad Orientation (Fall 2025)

Mandatory program hosted by the N.U.in Program

Once you have arrived at your host location, N.U.in On-site/Abroad Orientation will acclimate you to your destination university/college and city.

3. Husky 101 Boston Orientation (Spring 2026)

Mandatory program hosted by Boston Orientation and Family Programs.

This final Orientation experience will acclimate you to Boston campus resources and services, as well as student involvement and engagement opportunities.
