Undergraduate Co-op

Join our team as a Program and Communications Assistant undergraduate student co-op. Support the transition of new students and families into the Northeastern Boston campus community and serve as a liaison to university resources.

Responsibilities

  • Provide exceptional customer service to students, families, and campus partners (in-person, phone, email, social media). 
  • Support communications initiatives including social media campaigns, website and app content management, graphic design, and video editing. Superior ability to proofread and edit communications is required. 
  • Provide administrative support including inventory management, budget reconciliation management, and technical support. 
  • Support student leadership and development initiatives.

Requirements

  • Passionate about Northeastern and aspire to serve the needs of students and their families. 
  • Must maintain a consistent, high level of professionalism and customer service excellence; poised, courteous, helpful, and must be able to manage confidential information.
  • Extremely organized and detail-oriented, with strong written and oral communication skills.
  • Strong work ethic and willingness to learn, take initiative, be innovative, and work independently under tight and moving deadlines.
  • Experience with or technical aptitude for office, website, graphic design, and video editing software (Microsoft Office Suite, WordPress, Adobe Creative Suite), and social media platforms (Instagram, TikTok) preferred.
  • Ability to move/lift light program materials.
  • Previous office, communications, and programming experience preferred.
